Soap Review: Dior Eau Sauvage

Soap Review: Dior, Eau Sauvage

To the bar soap community,

This soap has been perhaps my pinnacle achievement with my bar soap blog to date. After posting this fancy fancy bar on my "soap wish list" page (check it out here) my friends gifted me this bar for my birthday (thanks J + J!!!). And, it is pretty awesome.

The Dior bar is objectively way too expensive for a bar of soap, however it does make you feel special and is a truly fantastic bar. The scent is fantastic, thus far permeates the bar excellently, and the soap is high quality and moisturizes the skin well. Best part is it comes with a soap tray and case, so that you can feel fancy every time you use the bar. If you are looking for a fun gift for a bar-soap loving friend, put this on your list!

Lather: 5/5:

Scent: 5/5

Scent permeation: 5/5

Bar longevity: 4/5

Texture: 4.5/5

Price: $$$$

  1. So my roommate/bathroom co-habitant has this soap and I feel this is a safe space to share that I have busted the Dior soap bar out of its iPhone-level casing to have a taste of the sudsy high life, and wow, it does not disappoint. Maybe it’s the thrill of theft, maybe it’s that I didn’t pay $55 to mechanically remove microbes from by skin, but this bar hits. Also if anyone ever took my soap, I would go like, super easy on them and maybe not even bring it up ya know?
